Scoby has fast hands but telegraphed and not accurate enough to trouble someone at Azim’s level. Was disappointed the writing was on the wall after the second when it was clear Scoby would just shell up. His only chance was to roll the dice. He’d have probably been stopped earlier but it was his only slim chance of doing anything.

Azim was class tonight I thought but it was very comfortable against a sitting duck.

Fast hands, reasonably good punch selection, but his power is very clearly not elite and we have know idea how he'll respond when he faces someone with comparable physical gifts.

As of now, he's not a threat to Teo, the top dog at 140lbs. Indeed, if Azim was a Hispanic kid from East LA, nobody would be talking about him.

Agreed. Frampton said on commentary that the fight with Smith should wait until one of them wins a world title. To make it a bigger fight.

Just total rubbish. The fight is devalued if one of them loses a world title fight. Get them in together now. It’s a huge fight without the title.

Is smith not fighting for a world title in January?
