I agree, imagine being GGG thinking you got shafted and rightly so and your trainer is going around saying how you lost. F that ****.
He didn't win both fights, but there's no problem with believing GGG won the rematch and felt he was "robbed" of his titles. That's one thing, but it's not a robbery in the way it is being called a robbery, which is that GGG clearly won a fight and the other guy got the victory. That's not what happened. Most of what you're saying here is reasonable, however where you're off target is when you say "After about 8 rounds the fight was even or near even". You're trying to ignore what happened in the first 8 rounds which was Canelo dominance. The fight was not even or near even after 8 rounds, so your entire mindset heading into the last 4 rounds is off track. Canelo was up by several rounds at that point and was in full control of the fight. After 6 rounds, all 3 Judges had Canelo ahead 4 rounds to 2. All 3 judges had identical scorecards through 6 rounds : GGG winning rounds 1 and 4 and Canelo winning rounds 2,3,5, & 6. Moretti and Weisfeld split rounds 7 and 8 while Feldman the judge who scored it a draw had Canelo winning both rounds 7 and 8. So GGG needed to win all of the last 4 rounds to win. Canelo was up by 4 points on Feldman's score after 8, who proceeed to give GGG the last 4 rounds to have it a draw, while Moretti and Weisfeld had Canelo up by 2 points after the 8th round. So that means GGG needed to win 3 of the last 4 rounds on Moretti / Weisfeld's cards to get a draw and would have needed to win all 4 of the last rounds on all judges cards to win the fight outright by MD. Moretti and Weisfeld had Canelo winning the 9th round while all 3 judges agreed that GGG won rounds 10 and 11. (10 was much clearer, 11 is very much a toss up round imo) So what does all this tell you, that you're wrong in thinking "After about 8 rounds the fight was even or near even". No, it wasn't even or near even. It was Canelo up by 4 rounds on one card and up by 2 rounds on the other two cards. The rest of your post is reasonable, you're upset and feel that GGG was robbed of his titles in a fight that you don't believe he lost. That alone I don't have a problem with, however this idea that it was a clear win for GGG which a lot of people arguing is just simply fiction. Canelo won the fight, but for GGG fans to think GGG edged it out down the stretch, I have no issues with, but to do that you are basically ignoring what happened in the first 8 rounds (which you were basically, by saying it was even or close to even). The first 8 rounds weren't even or close to even, Canelo was dominating, walking GGG down and it's very hard to find more than a round or two for GGG in those rounds. In the last 4 rounds though, GGG definitely stepped it up and won some of those rounds. There's no denying that, but Canelo controlled and won more rounds clearly over a larger number of rounds than GGG did. This statement is laughable. The theory that Mayweather Canelo was stacked against Mayweather is truly comical. That fight was so rigged against Canelo it wasn't even funny lol. Canelo had to weigh 152 lbs, the fight was promoted by TMT. Floyd Mayweather stacked the deck against Canelo and Canelo still fought a very intelligent fight against Floyd and gave him a lot of trouble. There are still fans in denial of this, but you're clearly exaggerating by using what happened in Canelo Mayweather and trying to apply that to the Trout and Lara fights. Mayweather did not in any way shape or form pitch a shutout against Canelo and the idea that he did is laughable if you know anything about boxing. Now there may be very reasonable fans who had Floyd winning 10-2 or 9-3 or something in between a shutout and a close fight. But to come to those scores you are splitting hairs in rounds that Canelo arguably did enough to win. (rounds like 2,3,4,6,10&12 for example) If you split those rounds well then you could end up with a 10-2 or a 9-3 card, depends what you value buy having it a shutout is ignoring what Canelo was able to do in those rounds and it's no better than saying GGG won the rematch or he was robbed. You hit on something important, Canelo is very difficult to KO due to his toughness and durability, and not only that but he regularly lands eye catching impactful punches, he has good defense, he lands a lot of body punches, he varies up his attack, hes unpredictable, he can fight in an attacking or a defending style. What's not to like about a fighter who can do all this and is in his physical prime? It's not wonder he was able to beat GGG and has 50 wins with his only loss being to Floyd Mayweather when he was drained at a catchweight.
Lol you still here posting same bull over and over day after day. And you tell others to “move one” hahaha . Dude GGG won both fights get over it. Move on .
So sad, I can just imagine the pain in Golovkin as he logs on to his online bank account and sees the 40 million Canelo paid him in two fights.
lol i know right Canelo is the best thing that ever happened to GGG, the worst thing that ever happened to his boxing career but I think GGG will get over the loss pretty quickly with that kind of $$. his fans on the other hand . . that's another story . . .
Lol I'm not going to lie shadow, usually I find you too much to deal with. But you are right on that one. It has been hard on the GGG fans lol real hard.
