In case any spanish speaking folk want to verify.

Interviewer 2: Inbetween rounds we heard an Abel pleading with Golovkin to do more, to do more, and to do more. Obviously it seemed necessary like it was necessary for Golovkin to do more, but he couldn't, what was stopping him?

Abel: "I kept pleading because He (GGG) thought he was winning, he thought he won the 12th round easy... I told him, I kept telling him to do more because I also count the rounds to see how we are doing. In the 9th or 10th I told him that I needed the last three rounds, we are behind, at worst we were even, but winning the last 2 or 3 rounds we could win the fight.... But Canelo, he didn't let us."

    Interviewer #1: that's quite a declaration!

I don't think pointing out how Azteca TV scored it constitutes crying at all.

but you called it a "fact" that it was Canelo's custom judges. That's just flat out false since we know Sanchez had a big hand in choosing the judges for the rematch which he's admitted.

Yup, its a fact since Clenelo never gets an adverse decision. Even when he's gotten a drubbing there's always 1-2 judges willing to tip their scores towards him.

That alone wouldn't be considered crying, but the fact that everyday its about how "GGG was robbed", and this thread is just an extension of "GGG was robbed", to me its part of the crying.

And you really believe they just let him pick any ole judge? He had to have a go ahead from the other party. That's just how it works. Oscar's pockets run deep, the choice that Abel got is probably akin to: "pick which hand you want to be chopped off, your left or your right."

    And yet:

"“I scored the fight even. I thought that the 12th round was the pivotal round. I said to Golovkin in the corner that I thought we were behind in about the 8th or 9th, and I told him I needed the rounds at the end."

Does it the name of the judge that favours Clenboy really matter? Fact is he always gets decisions going his way.

    Its a pattern, its obvious.

His legacy will have a * next to it.

lol and you conveniently leave out the sentance after that where he said "I thought it was even, but you know what? Canelo won, and that’s what’s important."

Sanchez said "Canelo won, and that's what's important".

Abel Sanchez said "Canelo won, and that's what's important".

:risas3::meparto: you know you're grasping at straws when your fighter's own trainer doesn't even think GGG won.

As a matter of fact on MY scorecard if you give Clenelo all the swing rounds up to the 8th he'd be ahead too. Of course Sanchez knew that being in Vegas they were going Clenelo's way.

weak comeback. Sanchez admitted he had a big hand in appointing the judges. You can't complain about the judges when you choose them trying to stack the deck against your opponent and your judges have Canelo winning.

"but you know what? Canelo won, and that’s what’s important"

Sanchez didn't think GGG won like you do.

Sure you can if they suddenly forget how to score a fight because their back pockets may have gotten padded.
