Nah, that’s actually a fact although personally I don’t put any weight on the third fight when they were both old men. That was a glorified exhibition.

But facts are facts and you can’t really dispute them. The first fight was retrospectively awarded to Fenech by the WBC after they determined that judges Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller were wrong. And so egregiously wrong, in fact that they, as the governing body had to step in and right this wrong.

I don’t love what the WBC did by the way, but this was such a cooked result that they really had to do something to recognise Fenech winning that fight.

Now you will argue, as you have done before that you scored the fight for Nelson. That is your privilege. But I am happy to leave it to the experts who took an unprecedented step to rectify a horrible injustice.

 

Without the hand injury Jeff would’ve stopped him in the first fight.

Ziju Jeff beat the malaria out of Ts3kw3 Azumah in that first fight. It was a medical miracle.
They were both great boxers.

 

You are an idiot. Barry McGuigan has always been very respectful and complimentary when talking about Nelson, so I don't know why you have a huge problem with him.

 

I remember the late great Emmanuel Steward said that there wasn't much more Fenech could do he beat Nelson from pillar to post even rag dolled him but still couldn't get a fair decision.

 

Well at least my eyes aren’t painted on.

 

Steward was a huge admirer of Fenech, he trained Steve McCrory against Fenech. He even trained Fenech for a couple of fights toward the end of his career.
