Azumah Nelson was great in his own right. Why try to hurt him by drawing comparisons to guys like Greb and Pep?

 

Looks better on film than Greb for sure.

 

Where can I find this Greb film everyone except me seems to be so familiar with?

 

Nelson at his peak was a hell of a fighter. I think he matches up pd fr pd with anyone in history. But he is not better than them. But ANYONE he fights has a rough night and most would lose.

This thread reminds me of a little anecdote. I was hanging out in Nelson's Paris apartment, back in the day, you know, and he's got an electric wok plugged into the wall by his breakfast room table, which we were drinking very strong civet coffee at. Or, rather, at which we were drinking civet coffee. At. Anyway, this wok is just full of steaming, smoking hot coconut oil. It is full of some whole, very inedible looking fishes. Just whole, fishy, weird fishes, frying like you have never seen anything fry before in your life. We're talking about a very hardcore keto thing here, long before it was trendy. It just stunk in there, man. Really put me off my civet coffe, ya'll.

"Hey, man, what in the sodding sock-foke is that you're frying in there, man?" I asked him. He looks at me like I am straight up stupid crunk as a mothergrabber and says "Jive turkey, you must be trippin'." and I says to him "We should've been in Airplane!" and he agrees and everything but as it turns out it was Jack Dempsey fishes he was frying. Awful. He pulls each one out, wraps them in a kale leaf, individually, dips them in almond flour and quail egg and then puts them BACK IN THE COCONUT OIL. I says, Zooms, this is nuts. "No, it's almond flour, but no whole nuts." and I'm like "What? Oh. No, I mean-" then I just stopped and stared at what he was doing, silently, wordlessly. His hands were fast, and heavy, as he worked that spider strainer spoon thing and fried them fishes up there in old, gay Paris. This dude was practically eating Jack Dempsey alive, except they was multiple Jack Dempseys and they was dead. But I believe that makes him a great, great fighter. Dempsey was a heavyweight. That's p4p ish right there now. Anyway, we went to go see Travolti da un insolito destino nell'azzurro mare d'agosto, at La Baiser Nique Ta Mere Fausse Viarge Calice Theatre. He loved it. But I thought it was sexist and pro-slavery. But whatever; because friends gotta right to agree to disagree. That's what we're forgetting in today's society.

I mean Nelson looks ALLOT BETTER than Saddler who beat Pep numerous times. I doubt Pep could keep Nelson off him if he couldn't keep the more limited Saddler off him. Serious underrating of Azumah Nelson here.
