Auzmah Nelson, arguably the best fighter to come out of Africa. Among the most underrated 'pound for pound' greats of the last 30 years. I have been watching some of his fights recently. Fenech I and II, Cowdell, and Martinez II. How does he fair in these match-ups. Alexis Arguello at featherweight and super-featherweight Julio Cesar Chavez at super-featherweight. Opinions welcome.
Great fighter. I think he's made for Arguello. Arguello had trouble with guys he had to track down. He wouldn't have any trouble finding Nelson. I think Arguello runs him in to an uppercut/staight right hand combination and stops hims around the 11th. I'd give the edge to Chavez on superior technique in an absolute war. I just don't see Nelson overwhelming Chavez, and again, Chavez was the better technician. Chavez UD.
