I don't see anyone getting hurt in this fight. It is going the distance. In this fight, speed kills. Marcel's speed and fluid boxing takes a good 15 round decision.

 

The popular choice is Nelson,,,the correct pick is Marcel by UD , fairly wide 145 -140 Truly underrated great fighter

 

seems you are wrong on both counts my friend. So far Marcel is the overwhelming popular choice...likewise Nelson is the overwhelming correct pick

 

Can't see it brother, Nelson is a very good fighter but I think Marcel was a great one. To each his own.

 

yep, I would say again the opposite that Marcel was very good and Nelson was great. Following a loss to Sanchez Nelson would dominate the FW/SFW divisions for 8 years before losing to Pea at 140...and wouldn’t lose again (although I do think he lost Fenech I) until he was 36 years old. Pretty hard to call him merely very good by any estimation IMO...I don’t see any world where that is not greatness!

Of course he's great. I'm taking him here by a close decision. Great matchup actually.

 

Nelson all day long all due respect to Marcel.

 

I think Marcel probably has the style to beat Nelson but that doesn't mean I consider him greater overall or even at featherweight. What there is of him on film is mightily impressive though.

 

I'd lean to Marcel, but it'd be close. If anything Nelson is more underrated than Marcel.

 

Azumah, but Ernesto makes it a compelling fight
