What a fight this would have been. Nelson was in my opinion a better feather than super feather and Barrera at featherweight turned into a smart boxer.......................!!!WHAT A BARNBURNER IT WOULD HAVE BEEN!!!

How do you think this one would turn out.

I'd have to favor Nelson heavily. Barrera's brawling/boxing style would play right into his hands. A late KO is a pretty good possibility.

I wouldnt go with Nelson by a massive margin but I couldnt go past him. Nelson had an answer for just about everything and was physically a very impressive fighter at feather.

By the time Barerra reached feather I think he was declining a bit anyway, you can see it in the Tapia fight and though it was a very gradual decline. I think he was a better fighter at 122.

Yeah if Junior Jones got Barrera you'd have to think that Nelson would have to be a decent favourite. I'd be more interested to see how the smart boxing Barrera did against Nelson.

I think Barrera on his best night as a pure boxer, jabbing and moving, using his superior footspeed could give Nelson a good deal of problems. I can't see him beating Azumah, but he'd make it competitive for most of the fight.

Hamed thought that, as did his team. It's been well documented that Hamed was under the impression that if Jr Jones could stop Barrera, then he could do the same. Hamed took Barrera lightly, no question. Even with all the hype that surrounded the fight.

I like both fighters, but I'd lean towards Nelson. Although just slightly.
