Irrelevant to my point. I think Nelson wins this but Hamed isn’t a helpless drooling mess that “wouldn’t win an exchange” you’re being unnecessarily silly with your claims.
Irrelevant to MY point. I never wrote Hamed might not win an exchange against Nelson. And I wrote Hamed might not win an exchange against SANCHEZ. I wrote Hamed might get SHUTOUT against Nelson. If you are going to quote me, please get it right the next time.
I don't necessarily subscribe to the idea that Nelson was a level above Barrera, especially when I thought Nelson lost to Calvin Grove and Mario Martinez the first time around. He also obviously lost to Fenech in one of the worst decisions in boxing history, but I still love Nelson and he was an unbelievable fighter. Far too strong for Hamed, who wouldn't even have an equaliser in this match up. Nelson by mid-rounds stoppage. Honestly, I think Nelson would walk right through him. I would take Nelson over MAB and EM at 126 and 130 too, I think. Maybe even JMM. But he wasn't levels above those guys when you compare legacies and achievements.
Azumah, Hamed is..of course no fluke, very good and was elite for some time until Barrera made him into a speedbag. But I believe that Azumah would've adapted near rounds 3-5,and actually school Naz bad.
