the hands are watched being wrapped.... the gloves are given to BOTH teams..... then Vitali comes back to see the gloves put on on... they had the gloves at least 15-20 minutes alone in the locker room. The BDB is in charge to watch everything, but all it takes is for a guy to grab 1 glove into the bathroom and mess with it... this is why they handed the gloves to Vitali so he could check it

 

It is unbelievable that he tried to cheat to this extent, with both steriods and padding in his gloves.

I wouldn't disagree with banning him from the sport. He's playing with people's lives.

 

wrong!. yes they are held and then given out.... but there is a time delay from the time the team gets them to the time they are put on... thats why when Vitali entered the room for the gloves being put on, he checked them.

the referee holds the gloves and they were given to each team 15-20 minutes before putting on..... the BDB had a guy in the room to watch everything..... obviously the official from the BDB wasnt watching everything

Vitali is known for complaining about Wlads opponents gloves and wraps pre fight to disrupt the fighter. When this happened I must admit I was in two minds. There is an element of the story "The Boy Who Cried Wolf". Maybe Vitali was telling the truth this time but I was unsure whether to believe him.
I'm not saying this to be controversial, I actually find the whole situation to be quite sad.

Please post links to two or more well-documented cases of Vitali complaining over issues that turn out to be nothing (eg. not requiring a re-wrap) simply to disrupt the other fighter. I'm not saying you're entirely full of ****, but post some specific cases.

I have no doubt Vitali in the opposition's locker room is an intimidating thing, as having a professional boxer for a brother who is qualified to watch the wrapping of hands and lacing of gloves has its perks, but you're suggesting Vitali has a history of making an issue out of nothing and does so to potentially disrupt the other fighter's preparations leading up to the ring walk, possibly hurting his performance in the ring. Back it up.

 

after the margo wraps scandal how can anyone get away with this? Wlads team are ****ing idiots for letting this happen. You'd think muthewr****ers would know now that this is a serious issue and should never be overlooked.

 

Then the BDB guy ****ed up and should be fired for not doing his job.
Like I said unless a investigation is found into who actually removed the padding killing Wach's career is foolish step to take.

LIke I said the pre-fight checks served their purpose, it was caught thankfully and taken care of.

If no investigation is going to take place then there is nothing more to be done except fire the official who let it happen.

 

THE ONLY issue was Wlad in the locker room with Chisora... chisora was putting tape directly on the skin which is a rule violation..... wlad told them to re-tape the hand which the BDB agreed and forced team Chisora to do

for some to come on here and post that the brothers ALWAYS cause issues in the opposing locker room during taping is a joke and totally false

all the brothers do is make sure the rules are followed and if not, they speak up..... the other team has the right to do the same in our locker room which in my 8 years has never ever happened:deal
