To me... the official from the BDB in the locker room was not paying close enough attention.......

Vitali was not in Wach's locker room the entire time between wrap arroval and gloves being put on.........this is exactly why the opposing teams are allowed to examine the wraps and gloves before put on and approved.... IMO, the system worked and Vitali did his job!!

 

Is there actually any evidence to demonstrate the glove was tampered with? In the 20 minutes it is written, that they have the glove alone, that is not a lot of time to do a good job tampering with a glove, so it should be pretty easy to see if padding was removed.

I assume they still have the glove, no? Given the circumstances? Therefore it should not be difficult to check.

There has been nothing concrete proving that padding was removed from the glove.

Everyone is crucifying Wach, with no proof.

And see, that isn't causing trouble at all because there was an actual violation. Some people here keep parroting this bull**** about Vitali making problems when the opponent is following the rules--hasn't happened at all to my knowledge.

Wlad choose the GBO for his fights until Vitali comes back.

The BDB was the organisation Wlad had much trouble with in 2004. IMO it was strange that the Klitschkos took the BDB until Vitali is back. Vitali made his comeback, for this fight the BDB was choosen. And after Wlad uses them too.

Do you know why?

The GBO made a good job.

Here the BDB looks not good again!!!! Like in many other fights (without Klitschko) expecially Prof. Dr. Walter Wagner. This guy is not working as a ring doctor for good reason on Klitschko events.

But I am confused why Wlad was not continuing working with the GBO.

 

I love it how Wach - after being suspected of taking roids for the fight - should get the pass on the glove because there is no proof that his team manipulated the glove but we're supposed to believe it came without padding from the factory? I mean seriously, is this a joke?

Wach was likely on roids for the fight and someone in his team ****ed with the gloves. This is not just 'a little dangerous' but when seeing these two issues in context this is borderline criminal. Wach or/and his team have to face some real consequences, they can't just get a pass on this.

Damn, it was totally missing? I first thought Vitale was only noting a soft spot on the padding. I really don't know how the glove could be weighted the same without the padding. Don't they even weight them to verify? Ridiculous!

 

Firstly I will apologise because after I made my post I remembered that it was Wlad and the Chisora fight that I was thinking of. I didn't have time to come back onto ESB to edit my post, plus I didn't know if anyone would take much notice of it anyway.

That said I will raise two points. Firstly, in my post I was trying, partly to convey my perception of how the brothers act. As gobblock mentioned having Vitali in the opposition's locker room is intimidating. So why do they do it? I don't believe they should be allowed to intimidate an opponent so close to a fight in his own dressing room. They could easily let someone they know and trust do the job. In my opinion it doesn't show them in a good light. Others may disagree.

Secondly, I find it quite hypocritical that gobblock demands that I post links to two or more well-documented cases to prove my point. Yet he accepts CHEF's claim that Chirsora was violating rules by putting tape directly on the skin with no such demands for proof.

The fact is most of us, including those that are actually there could never prove even 1% the things that go on in the dressing rooms pre-fight . If that is whats necessary to post on this forum we may as well shut it down now.

Ultimately we formulate an opinion from what we see, hear and read. I have no need to be biased. I'm willing to listed to both sides of the story. I often wonder how many others on this forum can say the same.

The truth remains. As a boxing fan I find it hard to trust the Klitschkos. If they don't care about that, fine. But if that's the case then why are we inundated with a constant stream of propaganda trying to persuade us what good role models they are for heaveyweight boxing?
