I don't recall Jones knocking Hopkins down. It's been awhile since I've seen that fight, but I remember that being one of the most boring bouts ever, with nothing approaching a knockdown.

And dislocated Hop's shoulder in the process. Of course, Bernard got up and proceeded to beat Echols down for that. I loved the moment in the fight where Echols turns to the ref to complain about something and Bernard punches him right in the face.

That wasn't a boxing match, that was a FIGHT.

Echols also dropped him with a shot after the bell. (first fight...?)

It wasn't after the bell, but it was on the break, so it was ruled no knockdown. It was in the first fight (1st round I believe).

Yeah...I don't think B-Hop hit the mat against Jones. He hit a lot of air in that fight, of course...:D

I second that, no knockdowns Jones vs Hopkins, Bernard lost by UD ( all three judges scores 116-112), suffered 2 knockdowns against Segundo Mercado in Equador in what resulted in a draw verdict after 12, and once knock-out-of the ring by Mills Lane ( No Contest vs Robert Allan)... Have all his title fights in DVD.
