it wasnt as strong a grip as you may think because when he threw the uppercut the arm which was on the waist area/back of dawson also came up when dawson when down

What could have helped dawson go down was the speed hopkins came into him which could be seen as pushing but it could be argued as closing the gap/space between you and your opponent

I still lean more towards a legitimate kd

If that right hand is not a clear punch then I don't know what is. I guess in your world Chad won the fight by a devestating one punch KO

No way, the 1st shot didn't land, Hopkins was pushing on him, landed a slapping little hook without much on it and pushed into Dawson who was off balance.. it was not a KD.

..also the TKO ruling was correct.. Hopkins jumped on his back, Dawson just pushed him off.. it's not Dawson's fault that Hopkins chose to jump off his feet onto his back.. that's Hopkins problem.. and that's how it happened.

Nope, Hopkins pushed him. Should've been DQ'd for that flagrant foul. Or at least an NC, I mean c'mon!

not hating he's just speaking the truth

    Types of T.K.O.'s

Doctor's Stoppage/Injury: The fighter has suffered an injury and cannot continue the match safely.

Corner Stoppage: The fighter is being completely battered, to the point where it is becoming dangerous. In some cases, the fighter may have suffered an injury. His corner decides to surrender on his behalf to prevent unnecessary damage or potential injury. (This is also known as "throwing in the towel").

Stoppage Because of Strikes: The fighter is overwhelmed by strikes, and cannot intelligently defend himself. The referee intervenes to avoid unnecessary damage or potential injury.

Multiple Knockdowns: The fighter is knocked down a certain number of times during a single round (common rule in most boxing and kickboxing contests).

Alright, I accept your conclusion... you don't know what a clean punch is.

Exactly, how can they even argue that he pushed with the right ?
Haters, don't hate B-hop just because he is damn good, and if you don't see well use glasses

You could clearly see Hopkins grabbing Chad's waist from this angle ..I have to agree what is he suppose to do ? Let him jump on top of him ?

    Dear Chad Dawson,
There is no shame in being knocked down by a legend, even if he is 47 years old.
Jean Pascal, Joe Calzaghe and Antonio Tarver will tell you the same

Wow. I didn't notice that Chad grabbed Hops' leg and bucked him off like that. At first I said NC, but now I'm wondering if Chad should have been a DQ'd.
