JMM is P4P #1. Doesn't matter if Pac got the nod in their second fight. Many boxing writers, commentators, magazines, and most importantly MORE fans know who won that fight. Pac's win over Marquez will go down only on paper (just like Tito's win over DLH), but everyone knows Marquez won, even Pac fans. That is why they cling to it so much..."but he knocked him down one time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" They seem to forget there were 10 other rounds in which JMM clearly got the better of Pac. That's how stupid they are. They judge fights based on knockdowns, and not on rounds won.
BHop is Marquez's promoter He once said that after Oscar beats Pacquiao all of Arum's guys will be out of the picture
bhop's just hyping jmm up because he is his promoter after all but he is not far behind pac if pac loses to hatton or pac and jmm meet in a final fight and jmm wins without controvasy then jmm will be p4p no.1
ring king that post was so biased its unbelievable. pac-marquez was close, everyone agrees on that apart from your stupid ass. plus when considering the best fighter you have to consider everything. pac has beaten morales~2 barrera~2 delahoya~1 marquez~1 (close), has gone from flyweight to welterweight. thats 10 division gap. now to say marquez deserves to be ahead of pac by beating casamayor and diaz is truelly ignorant and you are cought up in the hype and not thinking logically.
he also said Roy Jones would beat Joe Calzaghe.............................................end of discussion
hmm.... how can jmm even be considered as #1 p4p when he hasn't even beaten any Elite or top 10 p4p fighter? that will probably make jmm the weakest p4p #1 in recent times, competition and resume-wise. in contrast, pac has already won fights against Elite top 10 p4p fighters in 4 to 5 occasions. mosley, bhop, vasquez, calzaghe, rafa marquez and hatton - all of them have beaten at least one top 10 p4p fighter in their career.
JMM was a wide favorite against Casa and Diaz? Really? Don't think so. No shame having to work hard to beat those guys.
Did not see the Casamayor fight but JMM was impressive against Diaz even in the rounds he was losing. Diaz was landing more, but JMM's flurries were significantly more accurate and powerful. It didn't seem to me that JMM ever got off his game plan and even though the fight was close on the score cards, the tide was turning quickly in JMM's favor.
Until JMM beats Pacman in the ring he will always play second fiddle to Manny. Marquez looked great only towards the later rounds. He had to adjust to Diaz style and did a great job of it. I was really impressed with him. But Manny is still ahead of him as far as p4p ranking goes. Would love to see a 3rd fight between these two guys. Marquez looks really strong at 135.
have to remind you again who's the number one...... This content is protected you boys are getting excited for someone who fought a great comeback after 4-4 against grandpa's nate leftover..... this serve as a reminder.... pac will always be above jmm. and after May 2 when pacquiao collects his 4th lineal championship, jmm will be far behind pac and pacs name will be mentioned near the greats. he will be the first one to do it and you guys who dont believe in him will suffer the psychological manner of defensive move " denial" to cover up your heartaches... :deal
