B-Hop Prediction on Taylor vs Pavlik 2

I picked Tylor first time (but rooted for Kelly) to win UD, even tho he got TKO'ed I still pick him to win UD (KO if he gets lucky).
Bernards prediction has alot to do with who he wants to win, he gave chance to Hatton against Floyd becouse hattons win would have been perfect for his GOLDEN boss. Another KO over Taylor would show everyone that he was very carefull when he chose who to fight earlier in his career.

 

I'd like to know just what Taylor could do the second time that he didn't do the first. Pavlick even stuck his chin out fot JT and Jermain still couldn't close the show. If Pavlick doesn't fight stupid he'll win again. The first time he won, even though he DID fight dumb. And it isn't like it was a decision. It was a brutal KO. Despite what the racially hateful Hopkins thinks, Kelly ko's Jermain again.

 

Taylor got hit with a bomb because he was trying to put on an exciting fight. He had Pavlik all over the place at one point, nearly had him out, but he left himself open going in and got smacked, its boxing it happens.

This is JTs fight to lose, it in his hands. If he boxes smart and racks uo some pts early on then tries to land some big shots he'll win. We already know he can hurt Pavlik, he just has to box clever this time.

Are you guys forgetting JT was getting tagged with right hands all night. He got worn down. Plain and simple. The guy can't keep his hands up and it will just be deja vu all over again.

 

Exactly, Taylor hit Kelly with everything and couldn't take him out. He knocked Kelly down once, Kelly was up at the 2 count and went right after Taylor. Kelly was dominating the fight in the ring, if not on the score cards. He was ALWAYS on the attack.

Kelly will brutalize and KO Taylor again.

Hopkins can't deal with it because Taylor made him look ordinary and for Kelly to crush Taylor again makes Hopkins look like an inferior opponent.

On top of that the Brit fans also are praying Taylor wins because they fear a Pavlik win puts pressure on the The Feminine Flurry to face Kelly in the ring.

The Feminine Flurry is busy calling out the old Hopkins all the while fearing the young Pavlik.

Kelly crushes Taylor and then castrates slappy in the summer. :good

No other champion in or around the 168 division is more made for joe Calzaghe than Kelly bloody Pavlik.

Bit stupid aren't we mate.
Most of the Brits on here want Calzaghe to fight Pavlik at some point before he retires.
Also, when Taylor nearly had Pavlik last time, another referee might have stopped it there and then.

BHop doesn't want the man who beat him twice to lose twice to a fighter that most people think of as a crude slugger. However, most people who make these outlandish statements about Pavlik being nothing more than a crude slugger aren't paying attention. Many fans seem to have already forgotten that it was a couple of perfectly executed jabs and a perect 1-2 thrown by Pavlik in the middle of the ring that brought on the beginning of the end for JT. Even HBO seemed to have missed it.

I do not now how a kid who executes near textbook perfect combinations, and has remarkable finishing skills gets a reputation as a "crude slugger." I do know that the only real question about the rematch is, "What round does Pavlik take JT out in?" If Taylor comes in fighting scared because his pscyhe is blown, he won't see the end of the 3rd. If he tries to recreate round 2 of the first fight, he goes down in the 5th. If he fights really smart, keeps his left up and uses lots of lateral movement while refusing to stand and trade, he lasts 10 or 11 rounds. If JT sees the opening bell for round 10, he will have done something no other fighter has been able to do.

im surprised that Hop is picking Taylor in this one. to me, there's gotta be a reason that benefits Hopkins as to why he's picking Jermain.

one could be that it would make Bernard look bad if the person he lost to twice gets beat twice by another man. like other people have said.

two could be that Oscar De la Fishnets told him to say that.

Hopkins is just too bitter about Jermains win over him to really want him to win this rematch.
