Clev is not talented anymore? Has he lost? He is still young, just ignore the belt and he is doing fine IMO.

The problem with the situation is that he holds a 'world title' and is fighting fighters who are not at 'world level'.

 

Clev is a *****. He shouldn't have taken the belt if he only wanted to 'develop' fighting 2nd rate boxers. Get some ****ing balls lad.

 

I'm surprised Clev hasn't had the fraud squad round for pretending to be a world champion.

 

I consider him to have lost as I felt Bellew took it by a round.

He still has the talent and the work rate.

Unfortunately he lacks power and decent footwork for the top/.

 

Fair enough but he hasn't actually lost though has he? It certainly wasn't a robbery just a close fight.

LHW is a pretty dire division to be honest, he's near the top already. He's irrefutably top 10, as for H2H:

Dawson - gets totally outboxed

Pascal - wins a clear UD
Hopkins - wins a UD
Cloud - outmans to a UD
Campilo - UD
Shumenov - UD
Braehmer - UD
Chilemba - KO

Clev haters need to hate on VVarren not Clev.

 

I agree not really Clev's fault that people arn't making the fights for him he is obviously game.

I don't think he is, I think he's happy fighting bums, If he really wanted the big fights he could force the issue and tell Frank to sort it out or get ****ed.

 

What has Cleverly got to trouble any of those guys

 

Exceptional stamina (which he uses in fights; employing a high workrate).

Good body punching (excellent against fighters with poor stamina).

Brilliant punch resistance.

His strengths completely exploit Pascal's (and he's probably the best after Dawson) weaknesses and minimise his strengths. Similarily but to a lesser extent Hopkins.

 

In my opinion clev is the weakest world titlist in boxing at the moment, i mean he hasn't even beat a champ yet all vacant belts that has to be some sort of record

 

Shumenov (won on a robbery)
Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (all vacant titles)
Baysangurov (all vacant titles)

He does have a good engine but that has little impact at elite level.

He is decent at executing body punches but he is so feather fisted that they don't really slow any fighters up and most of the top guys could easily walk through his punches.

Pascal would probably stop CLeverly, he has decent power and Cleverly has no defence at all and his hands are so low which Bellew showed you can exploit. Anyone with a decent jab can totally confused Cleverly, Bellew would have won if he kept to boxing that way.

Hopkins v Cleverly wouldn't even be competitive, he would totally outbox Nathan and make him look really silly.

 

Shumenov was a bit fortunate but still got the decision which is better than anything Cleverly has on his record.

N'dam would have fought Pirog if he hadn't vacated, and is now fighting another world class fighter in Quillan

Baysangurov is now fighting Konecny who is levels above what Nathan has fought.

Cleverly has done nothing to deserve the title he has
