Let us remember that Dawson beat Hopkins with notable ease just a year and a half ago. I don't think that should be downplayed here, I know styles are radically different but nonetheless...

Too bad we will likely never find out given that Hopkins now seems to be a Showtime man and Adonis and Kovalev being HBO's boys.

I don't see him taking Kovalev or even being competitive with him.

I would likely pick Adonis over Hopkins. His weakness to me will be his punch resistance but Hopkins doesn't have much power so that works for him. Hop'd have to move more than Bellew did, but I do think he'd throw back more too. Hopkins' chances would grow significantly if he made it past the first 4 rounds without being shaken or damaged up to the body.

I would actually really like that to happen...

I don't get why Hopkins is so overrated these days. Lets put it this way... you have to make Stevenson a big favourite vs Hopkins and as for Kovalev... forget about it.
