Hopkins is a legend with or without Pascal. Kovalev beat Pascal decisively, and Pascal has just proven that he's not easy to beat at all.
That's well put. Reminded me of Bivol-Pascal. A lot of people expected Bivol to steam roll Pascal, in the end they were reminded just how good Pascal and Kovalev were.
No, he arguably lost every round against Marcus Browne (a lower tier top 10 guy in the LHW division) other than the rounds he dropped him in and the final found. He was on I believe a 5-4 slide prior to this win. He had been destroyed twice by the guy that is still ranked #2 or 3 in the division. This doesn't raise Hopkins legacy at all. It has no effect.
