i dunno if anybody else notices this but during the fights tonight hopkins was sitting next to richard schaefer and during the whole ortiz cambell fight it seemed like they were having a lengthy discussion and barely watching the fight i wonder what they were talking about? thoughts?
since they r both partners in gbp discussing who their prospects shall face and who earns most money for which fight etc
I thought that was interesting too, since B-Hop was rumored to be jumping ship and was nowhere to be found during Mayweather-Molsey fight week. Guess they may be patching things up...
Most likely about where B-Hop goes from here regarding fighting with Golden Boy, Schaefer has essentially said he doesn't want blood on his hands from B-Hop getting hurt at this point, and B-Hop still wants to fight for whatever reason.
I did notice Hopkins didn't seem to have much interest in the fights but as a fan I hope he retires. Problem is, Hopkins is too stubborn to do so and still feels even at his age he has things to prove such as getting a title at heavyweight:-(.
As a fan I dont wanna see Hopkins again,he has to admit that time waits for no man.If he's a genuine partner in GBP I dont see why he would be so desperate to fight.I guess his shareholding is in name only.
