KP would not be a "joke" if he had come back strong from that defeat like true champs do unfortunately he hasn't this is why he is considerd a joke.
He took a very safe comeback fight against Rubio and didn't really look too great and by all accounts he's been spending alot of time drinking (allegedly) sulking, feeling sorry for himself and moaning bitterly about the super six.
When what he should be doing is getting back on his feet and Knocking People TFO.
I do consider KP a "joke" but this has nothing to do with losing to ATG Bhop at 170lbs there is no shame in that whatsoever, however what is shamefull is the self pity and lack of heart and spirit he has clearly shown.
As far as i'm concerned "the ghost is dead". :yikes

this actually proves my point about worthless haters polluting this board. the man has had a staph infection. wtf do you want? you have no proof whatsoever BY YOUR OWN ADMISSION that there is a drinking problem and your comments about the super six tourney THAT HE WASNT INVITED TO are second hand comments. Just b/c an editor puts quotations around a comment doesnt make it gold. his fight after bhop was a mandatory that he ***** slapped into quitting on his stool like a champ is supposed to do.

    so yeah...great start noob :good

Yes, boxing fans have freaking Attention Deficit Disorder. Since that is true Pipe, I'll take a moment to remind folks of a few facts.

1, KP had a stellar amatuer career. His final record was 89-9, and most of the losses came at high levels of the sport. He won 2 amatuer championships in 1997, 2 in 1998, and made the olympic trials at a mere 17 years of age. Jermain Taylor eliminated KP from the trials, and then went on to win a bronze medal, and become only the 4th man in history to capture the true middleweight crown while still undeafeted.

2, KP won the NABF title at 23 by stopping Zuniga who had never been stopped, and had only one loss to Santos.

3, KP then went on to fight not one, but two title elminators. the first was with Zertuche, a fomer Mexican Olympian who had never even been hurt in a fight, let alone knocked down or out. KP ruined him. The 2nd against Miranda happened because HBO wanted to make Miranda into a star, and picked Kelly to make Edison look good. We all know how that turned out.

4, Kelly went on to become the 5th fighter in all of boxing history to capture the true middleweight crown while still undefeated by stopping the undefeated, undisputed middleweight champion of the world in under 7 rounds.

5, In spite of the fact that Pav rarely demonstrates one-punch KO power, somehow he maintains a KO% that hovers between 85 and 90%. He knocks people out by using considerable boxing skills to set them up and put them away.

6, 7 guys on Pav's record had never been stopped until KP stopped them, a few had never been down, and some had even been hurt.

I could go on, but I'll stop here. After December 5th the pendelum will swing the other way, and we'll be back to a bunch of nuthugging noobs making Pavlik/Robinson threads.

ha ha another one that cant take a negeative comment about his beloved KP. Sorry but this is my opinion I couldnt give a **** if you dont like it.
Second hand comments/Quotes from a journo are more concrete than anything you've given me so why should I believe you? clearly blinded by your love for KP?
Go away **** jockey, a dick like you wont change my opnion only fact will:hi:

If you were actually interested in facts, you would have stayed abreast of them. Those of us who actually follow boxing generally do.

There isn't a single FACT in anything you've said on this thread. You talking about facts is rather like Larry Flint talking about sexual purity.
