B-hop v all of Roy Jones opponents how would he have fared?

If B-hop had been born the same year as Jones and fought exactly the same opposition as Roy did, how would he have fared? I feel the only fighters on Jones that would have beaten B-hop would have been Ruiz and Calzaghe.

 

Well the motivated Tarver that Roy fought certainly would have fared much better than the version Hopkins fought

McCallum and Toney at middleweight, Calzaghe at super middleweight and alot at light heavy including Griffin and Hill

 

Why?

 

B-hop v Griffin would have been as boring as Griffin v Toney 2, both were mainly just counter punchers, though B-hop was harder to hit and harder to stop and would never have been able to drop Calzaghe.

 

McCallum didn`t fight Roy at 160.

 

Bernard likely loses to Toney, Tarver, Ruiz, and Hill. Might lose to Reggie Johnson, as well. Not sure about Montell Griffin.

 

B-hop performed better v Jones than Toney did.

 

Frazier performed better then Foreman did against Ali.

 

Because Toney was out of shape. In shape Toney beats Hopkins

 

Jones put on an absolute clinic against Toney.

 

Would have been interesting to see Jones - Toney II. The fight was planned by HBO but James got robbed in the 2nd Griffin fight. James was only in tip top shape 2-3 times in whole career, I suspect this would have been one of those occasions

 

Closing the space of Foreman didn`t work for Joe despite Joe and B-hop closing the space better than Toney who just followed Roy around the ring listlessly.

 

I didn`t see anything clever in what he did in that figt, he just moved and punched really fast, what clinic? Toney didn`t know how to cut the ring off.
