I think stylistically Hopkins is DOA here, and Jones has no bottle to mix it, nor the chin to last. If you want to pick a middle that could give Jeffries the most trouble, it would be James Toney. Toney was a slick counter puncher, and had an excellent chin. I don't think Toney would win, but he could make it interesting vs quite a few heavies.
toney is a better answer than hopkins i agree as i see him taking many punches on the arms, gloves and just being worn down. i pick jones to win because of his athleticism and mobility. he is gonna be hit sure but i wouldnt be surprised if he picked off nearly all the punches and rolled off the ones that did land. something hopkins isnt gifted enough to do i dont think.
