This is getting sad. Kovalev carried Hopkins in their fight. Any top fighter should avoid Hopkins like the plague. At least Kovalev got a few belts out of beating Hopkins. At this point if you beat Hopkins you beat an old man and If you lose it would be career suicide.

I am a GGG fan and this is how I see it too.

51 is just too frickin old. C'm on people! I don't know if even a massive weight advantage is going to overcome that.

That's exactly what people said about the Kovalev fight. He's even a year older now, and Golovkin seems to be a better boxer as Kova who completely schooled the old man.

3g will basically outgass any 50something he faced.

Bhop is proving to everyone why he's the best boxer in the last 50 years.
    He will fight anyone

Hopkins looked old against Kovalev, I don't think Bhop would have ever beat Kovalev, but man he was a slow old man in that fight.

This would have been a great fight for GGG in the past, but I wouldn't give GGG an ounce of credit for beating him now.

And I'm a huge GGG fan that also LOVED watching Calzaghe beat Hopkins.
