Apparently to some fans knockdowns against so-called master boxers don't count as they were obviously flukes (Hopkins today, Marquez in two fights vs Pac)

Anyway, I didn't see a plain robbery. Pascal possibly won 5 rounds on my card with two knockdowns. That equals 113-113 if my math is correct. Judges may have got it spot on with two drawn cards and one in favor of Hopkins.

 

I can also make a case for rounds 2 and 8 to be scored draw.

 

I feel bad that I got so drunk I fell asleep around round 5, I need to watch this fight now.

 

I disagree. Round 11 was a B hop rounds. and rounds 2 & 8 were at the very best draws.

 

I'd score the first round 10-9.

A knockdown shouldn't guarantee you a 10-8 by default.

 

ha ha ha ...you obviously don`t know **** about scoring a boxing round. Professional fights are scored on a Ten Point Must System in which the boxer who wins a round must be awarded ten points, with his opponent recieving nine or less, usually nine. If the round is a Draw you score it 10-10.

 

I actually say this was not a robery. This was just an emberacing moment for the reigning and defending champ. To get a MD in your back yard with your opponent geting the eyes of 1 referre is not a good performance.

Mine reads 116/110 with 2 split (9/9 rounds) +2 to Pascal for the knockdowns.

Gave Pascal rounds 1 to 3 & 5 + 12 (113-113). I think these rounds weren't hard to score. Round 8 could've gone either way I guess. No controversy here.

 

115-112 for Hopkins. Great fight, needs a rematch !

 

scored it 114 112 bhop. could see draws and such. whatever. bhop shouldn't have gotten kd. if he didn't get twice...this wouldn't be an issue.
