well said. even at a catchweight of 168 hopkins may still have a problem with the weight and sergio would be a bogged down version similar to the winky/hopkins fight.

prime 160 b-hop beats any version of SM. fight may go down like hopkins/joppy.

Why isn't BHop calling out Ward?

Once again BHop calling a top guy out of his weightclass to fight him.

Martinez would win on activity alone. Martinez is a lot more skilled than Pascal, moves very well and throws a lot from lots of angles. He's a handful for Hopkins, that's for sure

I'm not sure where B-Hop goes from here. I can't think of many fights that would really excite me like Dawson did. The obvious answer is a big name SMW moving up to fight him, but there are still too many SMW fights I'd like to see before that.

 

I honestly doubt Hopkins is close to Ward.
I believe he just has no want to fight someone who fights just like him. LOL.
Ward or Hopkins would decimate Martinez because they would expose all his fundamental flaws and negate his left completely.

 

I think Hopkins could expose Martinez' flaws and still lose by getting outworked. Ward is a different story, and in terms of level he's way ahead of Hopkins at this point

As of right now, I couldn't guess. But prime for prime, Hopkins would win. The only thing Hopkins does better than use ambush tactics is counter ambush tactics. Not to mention he's had great performances against Southpaws.
