It would good for all concerned to get a public assurance out of the Green camp that it is in fact at the cruiser limit - it's a doubt that should be put to rest ASAP.

The bookies are offering what appears to be extremely generous odds, and that usually means they know something the punters don't - weight restrictions being an obvious possibility in this case.

hes taken his shirt off? what does that mean in respect to how danny will prepare? and what does him being a mormon have to do with the fact that he wont take a dive? im pretty sure danny will be training as hard as he always does. i agree with you also chb it will be good to get an answer , but will it really change the opinions of those who are bagging danny? i dont think so

danny has never ever fought at CW and its really funny watchin him make a career out of cheating weights after claiming he fought mundine at the wrong weight (even though every fight of his career prior to that demolishing was at SMW) green probable win, but if the odds stay the same ill be chucking $3000 on flores

  6. Insane. No offense to Danny but I don't believe Flores to be the underdog.

Wake up to yourself. Flores won't come into the ring above 205 because he will probably have to boil down and nearly die to reach the 185/190 contract limit. The lowest Flores has EVER weighed in for a pro fight in his whole career is 198.5. The catchweight BS is the reason the bookies have such wide odds on the fight for Flores.
And guys forget about a 195 catchweight as some of you reckon. I would bet it will be at least 190 as why would the bookies have such wide odds. Flores isn't fighting Steve Cunningham here is he . He is fighting Danny ****ing Green. If the fight was at 200 it would be a 50-50 fight at best for 37 yr old Green who has never fought above 185.

Yes but only two days ago he was asked if the fight was at 200LB his response was "Cant confirm"

I feel like a parot repeating myself over & over again lol. We also have an ESPN reporter who has stated that the contact is well below the 200LB limit. Check the Ash thread out i cant be assed typing it all out again lol

Not that I want to defend Green, but at least 1/2 of his fights prior to Mandy were actually at L/H.

    Nope.
He had 23 fights prior to Mandy.
    14 were at SM.
    9 were at LH.

the immediate 18 before choc were as i stated....15smw, 3 lh... before those there were more at LH....
either way his excuse that he was weight drained does not hold water as it is obvious which was his preferred weight up until then

The weight drain thing is a half truth, any fighter is a better fighter when they dont have to waste away and make weight the decision is yours as to which division you feel best with competing in weight wise. Danny has been a SMW throughout his entire pro career until Mandy gave him a licking.

These guys are hypocrites anyhow, crying that he couldnt defeat Mundine due to weight restrictions and in the same breath imposing weight restrictions himself forcing them via way of contract onto his opponents.

If BJ comes in anything less than 195LB this fight is a scam and every one of you Green fans is going to get a good flogging on the forums for it lol, all the Green fans do is make up excuses for Danny Green, and they belive he is a real world champion. bloody crackpots the lot of em.

    Which is still wrong.
The 18 fights immediately prior to Mandy were -
    11 - SM
    7 - LH
    Perhap, dunno.
Green is certainly no CW, but I do believe he can't make SM easily either.

Personally I reckon his comfortable weight is LH.
