Babalu says werdum will tap fedor

Fedor will probably win..But anything is possible. Even against Fedor...Werdum is one of the most dangerous submission artist in the hw division. Fedor hasn't been confronted to a guy like that since prime Nog in 2003...

Only Werdum is not shot like Nog.


Ps: i think the reason Babalu is so confident with his prediction (if he's serious)...is because of what happened against Mark Hunt...

If fedor makes a mistake like this against werdum...he's ****ed. But i personally think he's extremely prepared for this. and since his brother was submited by werdum...he's probably twice as cautious as he usually is..

 

I believe Babalu is sincere in his prediction.

Fedor has holes in his game. That is what makes his fights fun to watch. Almost everyone he faces seems to have a chance. Fedor blends his technical knowledge with his athletic gifts as well, or better, than anyone. So far, except for one bogus affair, Fedor has always found a way. He has been able to submit or ko the bullies, Coleman and Rogers. He has been able to bully the submission fighter, Nogueira.

Werdum would most certainly have the advantage on the ground, in terms of pure submission. When you factor in Fedor's ground and pound, it takes away the certainty.

Fedor can also land that booming right hand standing, and could totally take away Werdum's chances on the ground.

I want to see Fedor vs Overeem, but I won't simply assume it's happening until I see Fedor's hand raised in victory. Werdum is a dangerous fighter.

 

submissions become ALOT harder when being punched and Werdum tends to worry about punches after being hit. It should be a good fight and I think Fedor wins by G'n'P. We'll see though I can't wait.

 

Fedor have holes in his game? Fedor is the most complete fighter out there atm. No one is perfect but Fedor comes the closest to it among his peers. Fedor is strong in his stand up, GnP, submission, takedown defense but his most impressive attribute is his smooth transition from one game to another according to the situation. That is why he always find a way to win, not because he is lucky but he have so many ways to finish you that it becomes extremely difficult to know what to expect and defend it all.

I usually feel most of his opponents have little to almost no chance but in MMA everyone does have a chance for a lucky shot and a very few can gaurantee to give Fedor a competitive fight.

 

This is a risky fight as Werdum has improving stand up and good BJJ. I'm not sure if Werdum has the power to phase Fedor or the BJJ to stop his relentless assault. If he doesn't find a way to win, I'd be quite suprised.

 

Fedor's going to pound Wedrum into saw dust. Im not expecting any submmision. Just a simple Fedor beatdown of the Nog variety.

 

werdum is adcc champ his grappling is top notch but with fedor punching him his bjj mite go from black belt to blue belt very quick! defo got a chance on the ground tho!

 

Babalu just has faith in his boy which is great but im sorry but Fedor is KTFO Werdum. I like Werdum alot but this fight style wise IMO is horrible for him.

 

Boom :thumbsup I know Fedor's lost a step but theres no way he loses to Werdum. Stylistically this is a horrible fight for him.

 

Werdum isn't going to catch Fedor in anything. He'll be lucky to survive to the final bell with Fedor punching him through the guard.

 

Babalus statement looked more off the cuff so should be taken with a grain of salt. If Fedor is going to lose I can't see it via submission, atleast not a clean submission.

 

Fedor is a dangerous striker as anyone in MMA, very vicious gnp and killer instinct.

Werdum's going to get pummeled.
