     Baby Bull must face Katsidis or lose belt

         One of the stipulations of Saturday's Juan Diaz vs Julio Diaz championship fight was the winner (Juan Diaz) must inform the WBO by letter within ten days stating his intention to fight WBO interim titleholder Michael Katsidis within a 120-day period.
    If Diaz informs the WBO that the Katsidis fight is a go, the parties have 15 days to negotiate an agreement and any one of the parties involved may request a purse bid at any time.
    If no letter is received, the WBO will declare Katsidis the WBO lightweight champion.    [/FONT][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Katsidis advisor Sampson Lewkowicz has not yet been able to contact Diaz' promoter Don King Productions, and is distressed at Diaz' post fight comments. "...the only information I have read from Juan Diaz is that he is calling out Manny Paquiao and David Diaz [and] is totally disregarding his mandatory obligation in every interview," wrote Lewkowicz in an email to DKP exec Dana Jamison,
    "furthermore Don King never acknowledged the obligation of the champion, this action of the fighter and promoter leads me to believe that they have no interest to comply with his mandatory obligation and gives me no other choice but to call for a purse bid as soon as possible."

    Who gives a ****, it's the WBO strap, it's worthless anyhow, let Katsidis have it.

    I want to see Juan unify with David Diaz or fight Pac or Cassa.

    My pick would either be Diaz by decision or a stoppage due to cuts.

    You guys act as if this would be some crappy mandatory. We are talking about Fight of the Year here. Can't believe people aren't excited.

    Diaz is better almost all round. Better combination puncher. Better defensively. Better jab and all around boxing ability. Better workrate marginally. Katsidis has more Power though. Still, even with all of these advantages to Diaz, the fight based on styles alone would be closer then most think, and Kat would definitely land his share of punches. Fight of the Year no question.

    He doesn't need to have a household name though. Once people see the fight, they will be hooked. Everyone has to start somewhere.

    Personally, I would love to see this fight. The David Diaz would be a great fight too. I wouldnt mind seeing either one of these fights. I have the Baby Bull over both though.

    Who is Katsidis ???
    That is what most fight fans would say.
    I have never seen him fight.
    I have read about him.
    Yes -- he can fight, punch, brawl and has heart.
    But he is basically a no name.
    No name --- no big gate --- no money.
    Dont blame the Baby Bull for looking elsewhere.
