I can see Katsidis picking up the vacant WBO belt.

Pac moving up in weight and fighting Katsidis and the other guy that EM lost to. Which would set up a showdown for all the belts when he fights Baby Bull.

It doesn't matter who the **** KATSIDIS is dude. Juan Diaz is a title holder and he must understand that belt goes with responsibilities. Or otherwise he should drop those belts and titles.

Juan Diaz cannot act as if he is an elite fighter who can command a good number of viewers and figure out in a big money fight without his belts . . . the way Winky, Bhops or Pacman can. :yep No way dude . . . he's too far from being one.

Now . . . fight or get stripped. :yep :good

sounds like a good fight on paper but i don't blame the "baby bull" for not taking it. Kat has power and heart but with no name one can't honestly expect Diaz to take the fight when bigger names are calling.

Diaz/Pac would be great. And it would make Diaz a ton more money and get him much more respect in the publics eye.

A fight with Cass makes sense to fight fans because of the belt Cass has.

A fight with Diaz/Diaz again is still more viable and a better career move this point than Katsidis.

too many options to honestly think Diaz risks his "0" for a fighter not many have heard of.

as i've said before, this is too soon for katsidis. this will be an exciting fight, no doubt about it. but it could be even more exciting if katsidis fights two or three more times to gain more skill before fighting the baby bull.

juan diaz tko9 on cuts for the simple fact that scar tissue breaks faster than healthy skin. and how much is the scar tissue around katsidis' eyes? a lot. any fighter who'd be fighting katsidis in the future should send amonsot a portion of their purse.

Willie Savannah prefers for Juan to fight David Diaz next, and have Katsidis fight Nate Campbell, with the winners fighting each other. That way, other than the potential Casamayor situation, there are no mandatories left that would cause Juan to get stripped of any belts. That is what he said anyways at the post fight presser.

Personally, I LOVE the idea. I'd really like Nate to get ahold of Katsidis before someone else exposes him first, and ruin a decent payday. Everything folks are saying about Katsidis is the same song they were singing about Kid Diamond, and we saw how that turned out..........

hmm... juan diaz is also considering a fight w/ david diaz rather than a mandatory w/ katsidis or a lineal title fight w/ casa. so, what's wrong w/ pac wanting to fight david diaz too for his first fight @135?

I have posted this above and I'll post it again.

Juan Diaz cannot act as if he is somekind of elite fighter who can command or draw a lot of viewers and figure out in a big money fights without his belts or titles like Bhops, De La Hoya, Winky or Pac. At least not at this point yet . . . so he has no choice but to fight his mandatory.

He cannot act like a prima donna and refuse fights. He doesn't want to fight Casa, he doesn't want Katsidis . . . what the **** is wrong with him? :think

I would rather see Juan Diaz fight Katsidis than fighting David Diaz. To me, David Diaz is a crap champion. The weakest link in the division.

Diaz needs to fight Katsidis and Casa before he can forge a fight with Pac.

I think Diaz should face Katsidis. Katsidis is his number 1, undefeated and a good fighter. Diaz is young and doesn't need to rush anything.

He can fight Katsidis then Diaz and Casamayor.

Diaz needs to clean up the older guys at 135, He needs to beat & Retire Casa. Then david Diaz will fight Katsidis for the WBO belt. Pac still have some Cleaning to do at 130 with JMM or Valero. Juan Diaz wins, Katsidis wins, Pac retires JMM, Guzman beat Soto. Then now it's time for Lightweight Tournament. May the best man win.

At least, the WBO commission pressures the Champ, not matter who he is, to fight the mandatory contender and WBO interim titlist as previously announced - Juan Diaz vs Michael Katsidis - which is a very good match-up. In short contrast, the WBC commission not only streaps the WBC WW interim titlist Shane Mosley as he drops him and former number one rated Frederic Klose to the status of NA-WBA ( Not available, WBA???) and elects the supposedly handpicked former 140-pounder Ricky Hatton to the WBC number one ww contendership position justlikethat ( and Andre Berto to the number 2 position) making Floyd's WBC defense a mandatory one according to "law"... Talkin about different policies and the WBC's BULL no better than the WBO's but since Floyd is soooo respected around here and the other half of the board is pro-Hatton, nobody mentions it but me... Juan can never be the undisputed lightweight Champion of the world, let alone unified lightweight champ, if he doesn't face Katsidis - and that is a fact.
