Defending the WBO strap is pointless, when he has a chance to unify the real belts.

We all talk about unifying to become the real champ, and the WBO is still a 2 tier belt compared to the IBF, WBA, and WBC. That's a fact.

 

Fact should be that Diaz handlers may have reached an agreement with the WBO commission when they fought Acelino Freitas, that would have been that Diaz would face an interim Championship title holder Katsidis since this was created for that reason - given that they wanted to unify with the IBF in the meantime, and now the same Diaz handlers ( Don King) backed off... So there's every reason to believe that the WBO streaps Juan if he doesn't act according to the aforementioned...
