he just got of the radio here in houston talking about how sure he is in winning the rematch... Personally I wouldent want to see a rematch Marquez would take on him again... No doubt....... Thoughts?
its to much of a risk for marquez because he knows that diaz can beat him. i think he deserves it because if it wasn't for the cut he might have won. but we all know what marquez wants.
I like Juan Diaz a lot, hell, it's hard not to like the dude seeing how he fights in the ring and how humble he seems to be. He's a good dude. But that said, he panics badly when he gets cut. It happened in the Campbell fight and again when he fought Marquez. It's almost like he's too civilized when he gets cut, you can sort of see his demeanor change and he almost seems to want to tell the ref and his opponent "hold on, I'm cut. Stop the fight for a minute and let me get the blood out of my eyes, and then we'll start fighting again." And that's not how the game of boxing works. This **** is live, son. After seeing how he reacted to the cut in that Campbell fight, as soon as that nasty cut was opened against Marquez, I knew it was only a matter of time. I wasn't certain Diaz was going to get knocked out, but I knew he was going to panic and not be able to control the fight from that point forward. He would do well early in a rematch with Marquez, but I'm pretty sure he'd get knocked out again.
If it wasn't for the cut he might have won? The cut was caused by a punch, no? So the rational behind that logic is "Diaz might have won if Marquez agreed to stop punching him in the face?"
Diaz should look to rematch Nate first at 140. Nates with GBP now so the fight shouldnt be hard to make.
i dont see whats wrong with my comment. i know cuts are apart of boxing, but you could clearly see that diaz was winning untill that point. the fight was close enough to warrant a rematch.
jmmorons have always demanded a rematch against pac. pac had given jmm a rematch, but they are still demanding another one. now the shoe is in the other foot. give JDiaz a goddamn rematch. and while at it, give the guy from Thailand the same chance too. :lol
As much as i like the bull, he doesnt deserve a rematch. Concentrate becoming lightweight champ again.
I vote for the re-match here in Houston so I can go again......He deserves a re-match plus it will be good for boxing as it was the first fight....
