Morales won a close but clear decision against Pacquaio in the first match they fought. They needed a rubber match to settle things for certain even though Pacquaio beat Morales more impressively than Morales had beaten him. Neither Pac vs JMM fight has had a definitive outcome, hence a third fight is needed there as well. The John fight was a clear robbery(and a terrible fight) so a rematch is unnecessary/unwanted there, and the MAB fight was a clear JMM win, with the only point of controversy being that MAB dropped JMM and it was called incorrectly a slip. Even factoring that in MAB's favor, it was still a close, but clear win for Marquez however, so once again, a rematch is unnecessary. And at this stage of MAB's career, not a good idea for him anyway. Diaz put up a great fight, and it's not like he's unworthy of a rematch or something, but as others have said, he lost in such a manner that most think the outcome wouldn't have much hope of changing if he fought JMM again. So JMM should move on to bigger things, which is hopefully the Pac/Hatton winner.
Nevermind watsinango, he just wishes for JMM to disappear so that Pac does'nt have to contend with him again!:yep
Reports are that Campbell off of not being able to make weight his last fight, will move up to 140 lbs..... ....Diaz has said he will stick around as a lightweight. If JMM moves up to 140 lbs, which is the indication, Juan Diaz may could emerge as the top lightweight. There's some great matchups to be made there with Guzman or Valero.
I see i didn't know that cause i've been busy with my thesis. Thanks for the info. If that thing happens, i would favor him against valero but a 50/50 against guzman.
The same thing would happen to Diaz as it did the first time around unless Diaz improved to where he has the ability to go the distance, then this could be a winnable fight for him.
