What is your best example of a boxer on the brink of knockout making a totally unthinkable comeback?
Both top and more inferior level boxers.

Please, if possible post videoclips for top amusement!

Corrales is the best example but recently Casamayor did a nice job.

I throw out a lesser known fight to most. Mickey Ward ko7 Alponso Sanchez. Ward had lost every round and was down in the 5th. The announcers, particularly Roy Jones, were saying the fight should be stopped. Out of nowhere Ward lands that beautiful liver shot and the fight is over just like that. Just goes to show a perfectly placed or well timed shot can turn the tide or end a fight at the drop of a dime.

penalosa against gonzales if my emotional pick.

but chico's way off the hook.

also jcc over taylor. he would lose that one if the kd happened after two seconds.

Baldomir vs Frank Olsen in 99. After being totally outboxed for 9½ rounds, Baldomir suddenly swings at Frank's temple and he goes down.

Frank was a great fighter, but never really recouperated after that loss, and retired less than 2 years after after. This being his only loss.

Off the top of my head...Barkley and Chico. They both were about to be put away.

This is one of my favorites for out of nowhere "holy ****!" moments and one that never gets mentioned. I'm pretty sure this was a ring magazine FOTY. Jorge Castro vs John David Jackson:

Chico is an obvious one that springs to mind, and to a lesser extent Pavlik against Taylor - OK he wasn't getting hammered, but was losing the rounds IMO.
