I had the fight very close. I don't think the judges gave Roy nough credit. He was landing on Hopkins when he was coming in after a few rounds. If not for the deduction Hopkins would have won by 1 round or he could have drawn.
I'm not sure that last night tells us much about 2002. All I know is that we were robbed of an all-time classic around 1999-2002 by that fight not happening. Both would have been physically primed with experience to back it.
