Back in the gym tonight

    Sorry but one single miles all i got. Newtown or any other town in wales isnt very big and once you started running on country roads especially in a town you havent been for very long its kinda easy to get lost.

    But all in all im not doing anything other than coursework, going out into town and sitting her writing this so what else can i do?

    Do some interval training then, sprint 30 seconds stop do 15 burpees rest for 30 secs and repeat 8-10 times.

    Then run that same mile four times, or run back the exact same route. What kind of a **** excuse is that. If your goal is to have your first fight within a few months I suggest you step it up a bit, in sparring you can pace yourself but not when conditioning.

    What you could do is a circuit. Run a mile, do 30 (or whatever suits you) pushups, 30 dips, 50 crunches, 20 squats, a round of shadowboxing. Then repeat that four times.

    You could also go to the swimming pool, get out on your bike, rent a canoe, sprint up a hill, or whatever.

    That's harsh. I wasn't a fan of McClellan at all and I think it was bang out of order with all the dog **** he used to do, but nobody deserves that. It's not just him, it's the stress it puts on his family having to look after him.

    You never said you were Sugar Ray Leonard mate.I was just saying if you want some showboating material to work with do a sugar ray impersonation thats all.I wasnt putting **** on you or nufn, honest i wasnt,i was trying to lighten thing up a little for you on this thread.


    Anyways moving right along.....pace yourself for the first mile.......run 3/4 pace for the next mile.You should be looking at building up the distance over time.Theres no point running a marathon distance when your preparing for a sprint race. If you get lost on your run......it may pay to take a map of the area:hey.I went to all sorts of places fighting and i just had a knack for finding my way back to where i started from:huh.......even if it meant i ran all day and half the night- sometimes I would just stop and ask an adult for directions :patsch:rofl:rofl

    That 'kid' is old enough to know better, its not like he is 12 or 13.
