Back to the old gym, put on some gloves again.

Here's me and my cousin training at my old gym. Not the boxing gym though, I have yet to do that.
What's really unbelievable here is that my cousin there hasn't had any instruction on how to box, he's totally self-taught aside from a few basics I've showed him beforehand (I hadn't seen him box for like 7months, so I was shocked to see how good he's become). You can see he has very good footwork and hand-speed for a novice.
I'm getting him into a gym so he can start learning, sparring and fighting ASAP.

Mother****ers that own the building it's in locked the door.
My mate had left it open to get some air in there, and they decide to lock it with a different lock.
I was trying to pick it for like half an hour before I just said "**** it, let's clip the damn thing". Apparently, I suck at picking locks with paperclips.

seems like your cousin learns pretty quickly, you should get him some sparring.

I thought about doing it myself to start him off, but I just can't. He's my little cuz, it wouldn't feel right.

Problem is that he lives where I used to live, and it takes two hours to get to the nearest gym. He doesn't have a car like I did back when I lived here, so he'll have to move. I don't have any money to give him, so I can't help him with that.
I moved right by my gym and got a job, he could do the same. I guess we'll have to see how badly he wants it.

Hehe, I'm not getting back into boxing anytime soon, so football is still my thing.
I was thinking about doing some fights now in the off-season, but for the moment my plans involve competing in the National Champs for 60m and competing some in Olympic style weightlifting this fall/winter. We'll see, MMA is more tempting than boxing anyways in that sense.

You know what? Now I feel like getting in the ring and knocking some bums out, just to rattle your cage.
Then I'm gonna search you up and try to get in the ring with you, ch(a/u)mp. Up for some pain? :D

He just started going to the gym. :)
Coaches said he was looking good, they're sticking him on the beginners group for the time being.
I'll be getting back to the gym soon too, so that I can check up on him and stuff. At the moment I have a broken leg from football that needs at least 4 weeks of healing.
