Just the above shows you how stupid this diet is.

    So basically no protein.... Why?

Again no protein and now no fruit as well. It's getting worse...

No protein in 3 days now...

This day along with this diet is idiotic.

Finally, you're allowed to eat meat, but only one type because obviously eating more than one type of meat in a day is bad for you...

    So no fruits? Why?

    Again no protein?

This diet is clearly aimed towards women that have no clue how to eat properly. Any athlete that trains as heard as he/she is supposed to wouldn't survive on this shitty diet.

You're better off just lowering your carb intake and eating carbs in the form of brown rice/pasta or root vegetables excluding potatoes.

My diet currently revolves around a reasonable breakfast on porrige or egg on toast, usually fruit, or a turkey sandwich for lunch and some kind of reduced-carb meal for dinner, always involving meat.

I can train on it despite low carb intake and it has all the nutrients you need, unlike that odd shitty diet above.

Seeing as you defended the diet at first I can't tell if you meant that or you're being sarcastic.

Why anyone would tell an athlete to even read that diet is beyond me.

"hidden" in ANY diet is calorie control fuel in x fuel out its that simple, if you take in fewer calories than your maitenece level you will lose, if you take in more you gain. keep in mind it has to be consistant you can't eat 2500 calories a day for five days and do a 10,000 calorie binge on the weekend and expect to lose weight just doesn't work like that. now its what you do with your calorie allotment that will reflect on your health if you eat fastfood everyday and stay below your maitenence level yes you'll still lose but your going to feel like **** and perform **** poor! you can't go wrong IMO with a well balanced diet with alot of vegetables and fruit some lean proteins etc.. everything in moderation:good

Water has been shown to cure a myriad of physical ailments. Including headaches and joint pain, as well as helping with minor cases of depression (because your brain needs water to produce the chemicals that produce happiness) just to name a few.

I'm not going to say its a "miracle drug." But people suffering from mild dehydration and not knowing it usually suffer from a lot of physical ailments. And supplementing enough water can solve these problems IF dehydration is the problem.

Water isn't exactly the cure for these things, the problems arise from a lack of water. What you are saying is like saying insulin is a cure for diabetes.
