i feel manny can have lots of success against floyd, i would still have to pick floyd at this stage though......remember the judah fight?.....this tells me a southpaw with a good left hand can have success, i.e. manny pacquiao...

we have weight divisions, not height divisions, you stance regarding the advantages of Mayweather's height need to be addressed to a commission. As for the weight difference, last time I check ODLH couldn't rush in on Mayweather when they fought at 154, but haters always have an excuse.

Another thing, I don't understand why people are crying about Floyd fighting Manny. Did not JMM fight Manny tooth and nail and did they not both push each other to the limit? Tell me why you all, who cry about JMM being too small for Floyd, want to see Floyd fight someone who is the same size?

I'm happy with the hate and loving it. All my worries were before the fight and if he can still perform the way he usually does and if the break was going to be good for him or worse. Usually lay-offs and breaks like that bring back a fighter in disastrous shape. This break proved to be excellent for Mayweather, he still has the legs, movement, speed, stamina and activity as usual so all worries go out the window and all hate is welcome.

Even the biggest haters are beginning to slowly swallow their words knowing he's on his way to Pacquiao and Mosley, despite being a fan of both I think it's fair to say Mayweather smashes them and gives them hell. For Pacquiao it's going to be hell he has never witnessed before. The speed, counters, movement, defense he will have to deal with is something he never ran into. If Marquez' style was tough for him wait till this fight is signed.

 

Only Arum could make Cotto/Alfonso Gomez and Cotto/Clottey look like all-time great fights which display serious improvement. Was Gomez even ranked ANYWHERE before that fight?

If Mayweather's tune-up is P4P#2 Marquez moving up in weight then Cotto's is Gomez/Jennings.
