Fans don't want to see this fight. Even as a floyd fan I have no interest in this fight. You can see what peeps are saying here:

Guerrero is good but he ain't gonna jump two weight classes and beat Mayweather. At 147 only Pac is interesting, otherwise he should look for opponents bigger than himself to make things even like Martinez, Canelo or Cotto. Nobody is going to beat Floyd south of 154.

Cotto is a very good fight but doesnt look its happening. How do you guys in the US feel about potentially shelling out $120 for fmj-rg and pac-pet fights?! ****ING PATHETIC! no wonder boxing is dying. Dana White must be laughing so hard right now.

So there should be a backlash. All this proves is Golden Boy and Floyd are using each other to try to milk his fans for all they can, looking to match Floyd up with every GBP fighter they possibly can before he retires

Here the problem with the Ghost -

    1. You, pointed out his weight class well done. He's only ever fought at 135 and below. Another issue is the best person he's fought at 135 is Katsidis, to put that in perspective, Burns, Diaz, Marquez and Casamayor have beaten Katsidis.

    2. The best fighter he's ever fought is probably Klassen. Orlando Salido beat him up and the decision was overturned because Salido tested positive for steroids. I also saw him on HBO where he the announcers questioned his guts against Daud Yordan. Then I saw Guerrero get knocked down by a jab by a shot Joel Casamayor.
    3. He holds no physical advantages that would offset Mayweather such as blazing handspeed or crushing power. He doesn't hold stylistic advantages either, Marquez is a better all around fighter and couldn't touch Floyd. Guerrero is an inch taller than JMM thats his only advantage.

    4. He can't draw flies.

    5. Everyone wants to see Pac-Floyd. Providing that can't happen Cotto, Canelo and certainly Martinez are either better equipped (Canelo) if not much better fighters (Cotto, Martinez).

From what I can tell the only person talking seriously about this is Robert Guerrero.

Hatton , Marquez , mosly and ortiz weren't bad fights I can see marquez as he was a light weight but he just recently had a close fight with Pacquaio 2 pounds lower. Also outside Ortiz, Pacquaio has fought them aswell.
