the stoppage was fair...the **** would you look like training and investing time, energy in a fighter just to see him get beat up. paulie was getting washed up...every other round i saw his knees buckle and he looked like he wa out of it. he had no answer, wait actually he DID. and that was the GOOD advice McGirt was giving him...if Paulie had stayed on the outside instead of trying to wrestle a dude who came in weighing as much as a light middleweight...he was working the jab lovely when he tried and the right hand behind it was landing no problem. even Paulie's lead left hook was catching Hatton...of course Paulie wasnt going to stop him but he couldve done way more damage if he danced around the ring popping one, two three jabs then following with a right...Hatton was just leaping toward Paulie and if he wouldve countered with a right uppercut while he was coming in or even in the inside, the fight would've been more competitive. honestly, Paulie was more upset about getting beat up and washed up than McGirt stopping him...after the 2nd round getting rocked by the HUGE right hand, Paulie wasnt trying to fight to win, he was trying to fight and finish. GOOD STOPPAGE, i would never want to see a fighter i care about take that kind of ass whooping.

McGirt should inculcate in his fighters the value of good head and upper body movement. Malinaggi looked like Gatti against Mayweather in there, too open with that stupid stance he hasn't got any ability or reflexes to pull off at Elite level.

Paulie had nothing last night his worst performance one handed fighter Ricky is just too strong for him Buddy action will cost him a divorce from Paulie and DiBella. Buddy was acting like a father protecting his son that happens when a trainer gets too close to a fighter. Paulie made more than $700K last night.
