We have been training six days a week preparing for the change of altitude.

We faced altitude issues in Las Vegas, New Mexico too. That and the smoke from the Arizona fires made it tough for our boxers. That experience has however made our boxers more aware of how important good stamina and cardio training are. We will be ready.

18 year old Albert Arreola "white t-shirt" was in Las Vegas, NM and will also be in Denver. This fight was Albert's return to the ring after a one year lay off. He fought as a super heavyweight in this fight but he will be a heavyweight in Denver. He plans to turn pro as a light heavy after January 2012. Albert is a counter puncher by nature but check out his body shots.

The long lay off, the extra weight and the altitude kicked Albert's butt but he still won a trophy. We later found out he was suffering from a lung infection too. Poor kid and it was three minute and a half rounds too.

 Albert was 14, 6'4" and he weighed 318 pounds. He left the gym quite awhile ago. I made him do sit ups and he said afterwards, "I don't do situps". and then he left and never came back.
