Arum is apparently going to get exactly what he wants which is to extend Manny Pacquiao's fighting career.

It's fair to assume that Mayweather will probably wind up being Pac's final opponent before retiring from boxing and focusing his efforts on politics.

By positioning Margarito and/or Cotto as Pac's next opponent, Arum effectively will have perpetuated Pac's boxing career knowing that a potential Mayweather fight will almost certainly loom in the aftermath.

This tactic allows Arum to maximize his earning potential thus achieving a prudent business decision.

 

I will admit to being a floyd fan, but also like Pac man so am unbiased.

To be totally honest the stupid Floyd haters belive what they want to hear (basically everything that Arum says) but in reality its all one sided typical Arum talk. If you take an unbiased apporach and think about this logically you can only come to the conclusion that you know nothing.

Arum said Pac agreed to all drug testing protocols requested by Mayweather.... But he wont actually say if this was the 14 day or totally random Blood testing.

Arum said they are waiting for Floyd to sign. But how can Pac sign a contract as we all know there are other issued that need to be ironed out, like the purse for each fighter.

And this cut off date thing is complete rubbish. We all know Floyd thinks he is the most important thing in boxing so to think for one second that he will let Arum dictate to him is complete rubbish.

The fact that Floyd has been silent at least shows that he kept his end of the bargain by not discussing negotiations. Arum on the other hand is clearly breaking the rules.

Sorry for this anti Arum rant, but i really hate him! I wish pac would haveleft Top rank.
