Bad cornerwork examples...

    What are some examples of bad cornerwork?

    I can remember two in particular. Rahmans cornerman during the second Lewis fight, "Rock, whenever he punches, just put your hands out, he can't get around them". Lennox comes in and Rahman extends his arms. DOOF DOOF. Rahman on the canvas. :lol:

    A british fight. The cornerman says, "he has no left hook. The chap can't punch with his left hand. Forget about his left hand and focus on the fight hand and then land your own punches. Don't worry about a counter from a left hand, he has none... A Left hook drops the fighter a minute later. Anyone remember this fight?

    A bad example recently i can rememeber is RJJ's corner against Calzaghe

    Had no idea what to do when Roy was cut and just kept pouring water on it hoping it would go away?!

    Adam Booth in Dodson's corner for his fight against Quigley. Think he told him that he needed the stoppage in the last round, even though he was comfortably ahead on points.

    enzo mac v ola ofolabi...

    enzo calzaghe did the wrong thing sending him out all guns blazing every round....if i could see what was coming {and i texted healy from this forum saying that he would punch himself out half way in the fight} me sat on my sofa...then he should have known it...
    between both enzo's they didnt have half a clue what to do.
    in my opinion, enzo mac could have tried half as hard as he did and won that fight...he tried too hard and lost the fight.

    Bobby Rimmer's corner was a shambles in the Jeffries/Bambula fight.

    The cutman was doing a better job at trying to get Jeffries going.

    What a fool Duva was at times. He barked at Meldrick and told him he needed to win the round, the complete opposite of what he should've been telling him. The advice Meldrick needed was to get on his bike, avoid mixing it up and not give Chavez any chance to land a big shot.

    That wasn't the only time i've seen Duva doing horrible corner work. He was terrible in some Pernell Whitaker and Holyfield fights too.

    One of the worst corner men i've seen in recent times was Katsidis' trainer in the Casamayor fight.

    Jenning's corner against Brook. The way they were trying to deal with his cut with a tissue was quite funny.
