Not for me ,Golovkin is now going back, Alvarez is improving,I wouldn't be surprised if Canelo wins a rematch convincingly.Excellent fight in which both displayed very good chins,Canelo has the clear edge in speed and I think GGG will regress now he's 35.
Jimmy Young lost a lot of close decisions, the reason for that is he didn't have a champions mentality, and was never prepared to," let it all hang out." he was content to try and steal fights.Ducking your head out through the ropes to escape an aging out of shape champion is not the way to win fights. He remains a "nearly man ,"for me and that as it should be. imo
Glen Johnson would have still had his fair share of losses, but surely he shouldn't have quite as many as he has.
It will definitely be proven in a rematch no doubt Canelo is peaking and I have always thought he belongs for me the rematch confirms GGG as slipping....on another note the purses were not reflective of super fight status
How about Orlando Canizales? Four of his five losses were split or majority. Supremely skilled fighter.
The difference being Canizales was past his prime in 2 of them ,and the others were in their primes. Against Ali ,Young had a golden opportunity and squandered it imo.
