ABRAHAM: ''Well the mistake I did was that I let him (Dirrel) win the early rounds and I didn’t start strongly enough, but I’ve learned from that and it will not happen again. I will come out gunning well and be very active from the first round on in my future fights because then I don’t have to do too much near the end. So that was what I have learned and that is what I will do in my next fight.''

This fight should be absolutely tremendous given both men are coming off loses and looking to up their workrate:bbb

Has both these defeats made for a better fight?

Abraham has been the same all his career? So now after 30+ fights he realises he needs to start earlier?

    Abraham has always said that.

Lucky for him, he will land bombs on Froch when he chooses to. Be it at the beginning or at the end, Abraham will have no problem landing on Frochy, and I'm 95% certain King Arthur takes The Cobra out.

Sad, but I've come to accept it now.

can't see it myself,AA is made for froch,
froch can't do with movers, dancing in front and away,AA is no dancer or mover,he is a straight forward hands up "jab, right hand, jab right hand",
he is made for froch in my opinion :deal:good:D

And Abraham struggles with movers, with Frochy isn't. It will be a collision course IMO, they both have cracking chins so it will come down to power, which Abraham has the edge in IMO :good

Abraham and Froch only start slow against faster fighters so they can catch up with them at the end. this will be a war from round 1 on.

froch may not be a mover but he is unorthodox and can bang. abraham doesn't like getting hurt.

However, we have seen Abraham fight through the pain barrier. I think hes pretty sturdy myself.

This will be a war for however long it lasts. Froch will get hit hard, often. I don't think Froch will land too many clean punches due to the way AA defends. A fair number may get through but most of the power will get taken out of them by AA's guard.

Froch's gets worn down and stopped in brutal fashion in the 9th/10th.

Probably why Froch's team said they're working on his skills this time, might be looking to box and move early on and get some rounds in the bag.

Some people are highly rating both AAs chin and power at 168 with very little evidence to go on...if Dirrell can put him on the seat of his pants then I know Froch can

That wasn't anything to do with AA's chin IMO. More to do with Dirrell's footwork and movement putting AA off balance and the a well timed accurate shot that caught him. Abraham was not hurt by it.

    Agree with this post whole-heartedly.

AA will come in and do his usual slow start trying to work froch out, fortunately for him froch doesn't have many dimensions and AA will notice that low left hand. In time probably round 8 or 9 he will crack a thudding 1-2 on that chin. It might not finish him there and then but I feel AA wil get many chances at getting the ko and ultimately get the finish in the late rounds.

I look to the Dirrel and kessler fights and watch froch slow right down late on, hence the ko by AA. As flea says froch is bespoke to AA he has a slow workrate, poor defence and lacks any ability to switch mentalities and tactics, it seems he never has a plan b either.
