This. If I'm a professional fighter, I'm not fighting anyone that's testing positive. As cliche as it sounds around here, it's bad for your health.

Serious question: How do you know Povetkin didn't take peds in camp then not cycle off properly, and that's how small traces were found? Seriously.

I doubt he's high on fight night though, unless he sneaks a few hits in the dressing room. I'd get my ass beat on weed lol

Honestly I'd not be surprised if both were on something, and cleaned up.....oops almost!
I don't really like pointing fingers at "cheats".
Look at Carl Lewis. He finger pointed @ Ben Johnson, and the world applauded him.
Then it turned out that he was positive for something too!

Whatever is useful as a PED, and currently not tested for......Well better believe Povetkin, and Wilder are using it now.

do you mean you wouldn't fight them "ever" or do you mean just at the time they tested positive??

don't forget a lot of dudes that test positive still come back thereafter they have supposedly become clean.

chances are you have a bit of anxiety about how bad your game is, how you will look infront of the other dudes, thus blazing creates a "fun" feeling for you to go out on the court and just enjoy :rasta

nothing wrong with that, however, you would have to get over that if you ever wanted to go pro  :thumbsup :p

You often assume too much in your defensive aggressive confusion.

You make WIDE sweeping extreme statements that make sense only from the stupid past time "groupings" of what you personally deemed was right or wrong oblivious to the fact that there is ALWAYs more than one side,,,,,

unless its only you that matters???

Blackclouds, there are PLENTY of members in this thread NOT BASHING Wilder for refusing to fight Sasha while still voicing our displeasure over what we feel is a fighter that is not on Wilders level. How dare you claim with your wide statements that we all want to give Sashy a free pass? You confused short sighted fool :smoke

That's two different and very different points that you decided in your extreme black and white thinking are the same, do me a favour, stop that kind of thinking from here on forwards or get ready for my foot to keep coming for your ass :deal

p.s. and try saying something nice about something once in a while you negative hearted and closed minded hater :rasta

Just as long as they're testing positive.

No it's not bad for boxing. The Povetkin fight was canceled due to the positive test. Arreola sucks yeah, but at least he still fights on TV and people know who is is. This isn't a Garcia-Salka type fight. Plus Fury, Klitscko, Joshua all have fights lines up and it looks like Wilder will be fighting Povetkin next after all so who cares really.

Hardcore fans are disappointed in the matchup because its meaningless and Arreola looks to have seen better days. But I think it'll be a good fight for casuals to see as their should be a lot of action and a KO, which is what casual fans want to see from HW Boxing.

It's a **** fight, but I ain't gonna place all the blame on him. There's a reason we never got Wilder/Povetkin and it's not because of Wilder.

Secondly, let's hope a great fight looms in the air after Wilder knocks this ped cheat out.

agreed, I am just anxious for Wilder to fight one of the other top dogs.

i don't blame Wilder, i was just let down because Arreola has looked so past it his last several fights. I was a bit surprised this fight got sanctioned but i guess it could make money so there you go.

He definitely could have picked better guys.

Trying to be objective here.

But we NEED to get a better opponent next time around, much better.

I said before, if he does not fight a top tier world class opponent by 2017 (mid), I'm going to trash him for good.

He's a champion now, gotta find the goods.l
