It's not even a matter of IQ or how smart a boxer is, it's more the ability to write articles that make a good read and not make it sound like some high school essay. Being a writer/journalist is a skill that requires talent and practice, just like boxing, so you can't just take any boxer and make him write just like you can't take some writer and make him box. We would all love it if we had some good writers who also really knew how to box but that would be a pretty rare combination. Realistically the best we can probably get is a very good writer with some sparring experience or some decent boxer with passable writing skills, and even that I would wager would be pretty rare. I do get what you're saying man but the truth is to get a good writer who is also a good enough boxer who really knows his stuff is highly unlikely.
