And I put whatever fight based on what the boxing community thinks. Most think Burns winning is fine, but way, way too wide. That's why it's on the list.

The result is up, and the official scores - but not the names of the judges or ref.

    This can't go overlooked.

This was just gross negligence. You can't refuse to call several blatant knockdowns.

If it's once, or even twice, it can be written off as an error in judgment, maybe being at a bad angle to see, etc.

This was clearly intentional. The scumbag wasn't going to rule a knockdown of Nor Rizan no matter what Hua did to him. He could have knocked him out cold, face down and unconscious on the canvas and the ref would have had everyone sitting around waiting for him to revive before announcing it was a slip and calling time in. :-(

    Oh god yes. Good call.

On the same day as the near-screwjob on Hua, too. :-(

Sullied an otherwise great weekend with fair scoring in the biggest events (Huck vs. Afolabi, Mayweather vs. Cotto..)

For anyone who didn't see it, Harris gave Gerber about as thorough a boxing lesson as Abril gave Rios (except a shorter one, being an 8 rounder instead of 12 - otherwise, every bit as much a schooling)

Ian John Lewis should have his own special section in this thread.

So, Rich Green is off to a hot start. Two very, very disputed scorecards.

Seems like Fritz and Rios are a tag team.

    http://www.thesweetscience.com/news/articles/13358-ocs-luis-ramos-kos-rodela-rios-escapes-speedy

18 rounds won and zero lost against good opponents. Nothing fishy about that.

But people here will say boxing judges are no worse than NBA or NFL refs. Next time The Patriots play two consecutive games without a penalty being called on them, let me know.

Huh, that's a good find. :good That's some pretty big news right there. These big boxing guys with websites and blogs and all that need to really mention this. Two fights where Rios clearly lost rounds, but didn't on Werner's card has to be brought up.
