Bad news for boxing fans: Old man Merchant calling the fight tonight on HBO

I'd rather have Merchant. Kellerman's shouting and trying to sound smart by over pronouncing every letter in every word is hilarious.

 

Merchant is terrible. Max is not much better. I dont know, Merchant will say some stupid **** that atleast makes you smirk like "what the **** is he talking about. So he may be a little bit better entertainment wise.

 

at first i thought he died and i was gonna get sad.

that goes to show u i must secretly like him commentating....

nah..no i dont.

 

p.s. i think floyd mayweather Sr. should get hired to call fights

his diction and enunciation is so precise.

Maybe Max can get the "Sham Wow" job now that the guy that used to do them is in hot water. Would be a great fit for his talents.

Merchant is slow with words but sometimes he can be insightful. Lampley has been pissing me off though lately. I like Max Kellerman though, he's only pissed me off once.
