Merchant doing some major ballwashing tonight. I'm certain Max wouldn't have taken to this near homo level

Kellerman and Merchant are both awful. Al Bernstein is way better.

    What the...
you really prefer Kellerman's rigid lines over Merchant's biting commentating?

Are you kidding me? LOL. Wlad won every round but 3 against Peter.

Peter could not even beat a guy that had been inactive for over 4 years.

    Kellerman is a joke.

There really is nothing he could ever do that you'd approve of, is there? That doesn't speak to his performances, but it speaks volumes about you.

    Merchant sucked tonight.

First he referred to Arreola knocking Peter down 3 times. I guess the vodka was just kicking in then.

Then following the main event in which Paul Williams looked absolutely brilliant, in Merchant's final monologue, he talks about the undercard? What is that bull****? Hey Larry, I don't care about some 260 pound fat Mexican who would get knocked senseless by either Klitschko, I'm interested in the main event.

Point taken. He should have talked up the dominate performance by the main event winner, Paul Williams instead of rambling on about how he likes the name Christobal. He is definately ready to be put out to pasture. Credit to Lampley; he looked really embarassed for the old soldier.

Hey, you've got a right to be wrong.

I almost thought he was coked up with how on fire he was. He gets names wrong less than Steward does, interprets ref decisions more quickly & accurately than Kellerman, and is tons less sentimental than Lampley. Conversational interviews and jumping in and out of that ring for interviews then analysis in what must be record time... I've never heard the expression "you can promote a pound and a half of butterscotch" before, but it's one of those crazy Dan Rather insights that I'll definitely remember.

Interested in the main event? You had just seen the main event, and nothing Merchant can ever say will be appreciated by you anyway. He'd covered just about everything in the interviews that could be said, and everything else got summed up by the rest of the panel.

What's wrong with drinking, anyway? Are you Mormon?

Yeah, no **** I just watched the main event. And now I'm interested in the implications in boxing that Paul Williams' win has produced. I'm not interested in fatass Arreola's cool-sounding name.

And there's nothing wrong about drinking -- it's just something you shouldn't do before commentating, especially when you're as senile as Merchant.

Who wants to hear a guy finish up a broadcast by talking up some fat guy who knocked out an even fatter guy when a top 10 class champion just destroyed a tricky veteran? Anyway, at this rate CHRISTOBAL will weigh about 300 lbs. by the time he ever fights a Klitschko. The guy gains about 15lbs. every fight. An absolute disgrace.

Exactly, except now Merchant nuthuggers like futonrevolution would jack off to any word that Merchant says.

No one wants to hear about fatass Arreola, who's an absolute disgrace.
